AMAZING PLANET

by Dwight Fuqua

The earth orbits the sun at an average distance of 93 million miles.  It makes a revolution every 365 days, 5 hours, 48 minutes and 45.51 seconds.  The earth travels through space at a speed of 67,000 miles per hour.  It also completes one rotation on its axis every 23 hours, 56 minutes and 4.09 seconds.  Amazing, isn't it?

"The earth is the Lord's, and all its fulness, the world and those who dwell therein" (Psalm 24:1).
