A DEVILISH PERSPECTIVE

When confronted with wrongdoing, people devoted to sinful behavior will sometimes express the thought, "I'm not afraid of the devil!"  Ought to be!  "Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil walks about like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour" (1 Peter 5:8).  It is dumb to say, "I'm not afraid of the devil." 

A different perspective!  Let me ask you this, "Is the devil afraid of you?"  "Therefore submit to God.  Resist the devil and he will flee from you" (James 4:7).  If the devil isn't concerned about us, we are in mighty sad shape!
